With a connection, the tech downloads the work orders and sampling jobs for the period, with attached PDFs. In the field, they look up what was downloaded.

The tech fills in the form and checklist set up by the laboratory, following the sampling steps.
Photos linked to the sample
Photos are linked to the sample and the sampling event, with the device location when the permission is on.
Client signature on the device
The person in charge of the site signs on screen, and the signature is recorded on the work order.
Location recorded at sampling
The app records the device coordinates at the time of sampling, according to the location permission. It is evidence of the record, not absolute proof of the point.
Batch upload when the connection returns
Records made without signal stay in the device queue. With a connection, they are sent in batches, and anything not accepted stays pending for review and resending.
Sampling linked to the work order
Every field record arrives linked to the work order, the point and the tech. This supports sample traceability all the way to the lab.
Field measurements
Parameters measured on site, when the method calls for it, are entered in the app during sampling and arrive linked to the sample.

Offline mode works best with a simple sync routine.
Before leaving: download the jobs
With a connection, sync the device to download the day's jobs and documents. Anything not downloaded can only be looked up online.
In the field: record on the device
The form, checklist, photos, signature and location are stored on the device until upload.
Back online: check the upload
When the connection returns, check that all records were sent. Anything pending can be sent again.
Frequently asked questions
Does the app work without internet?
Yes, for field work: looking up downloaded jobs, filling in the form and checklist, taking photos, collecting the signature and recording the location. Download, sync, maps and routes need a connection. Validate your sampling flow in airplane mode during implementation.
Does the photo store where the sample was taken?
The photo is sent with the device coordinates when the location permission is on. The coordinate is evidence of the record. Accuracy depends on the device and the place.
Can resending duplicate the sampling?
When the app resends sampling the system has already received, the resend is recognized and ignored. This helps avoid duplicate records. Records that did not sync stay in the queue and can be reviewed and sent again.
How can I test offline mode at my lab?
During implementation, use the team's device in airplane mode: download the jobs, record a photo, signature and checklist, close and reopen the app, restore the connection and check the upload.
